Ask and You Shall Receive...

One of the ways to get what you want out of life is to ask questions.  In 1996, I discovered the universe for myself.  I learned that in the infinite wisdom of creation that all is possible.

The universe is what the author Deepak Chopra calls, “the field of infinite possibilities.”  I figured out that everything is possible.  You just have to have the gall and faith that it is possible.

I am on the A train in Brooklyn right now writing this and I am currently amazed on how the maze of subway cars worms underground throughout the boroughs of Brooklyn, Queens, the Bronx and Manhattan.  I find it awesome that I can travel anywhere at speeds of 60 miles per hour in my car.

All of these possibilities came about because someone asked a question.  They had the idea to build a subway system and asked how it could be done, and the answers obviously manifested for them.  Another person had the idea to take the horse and buggy, and automate it so that you could utilize the horsepower without the need for the actual animal (and a super size pooper scooper).

The answer was revealed and now we have the Toyota Camry, Mercedes-Benz’, and the Indiana 500 car race where cars seem to fly around the track at blinding speeds.

Regardless of if the question being asked is for spiritual clarity, or material gain, the process is always a spiritual one.  Whether you are looking to generate a couple million dollars, find the “cure for cancer”, or figure out how to pay the rent it is a spiritual process.

You have to ask the question, so that you can get an answer.  Try it.  I am definite that you will be amazed by the results.

The Creative Mind

One thing that I have to always keep in mind is that I create my own reality from my thoughts.  Whenever I have a goal in mind of what I want to happen, it happens.  This makes life miraculous.  In fact, everything in our reality is miraculous and it all started out as a thought in someone’s mind.

Think of it!  The computer that I type on can perform limitless operations.  I can search anything and get tons of information instantly.  Your mp3 player that fits in your pocket can store 100,000 songs and even movies.  I have flown to China in 16 hours.  You get the point.

Everyday things that we take for granted are nothing short of miraculous.  We have taken what has been provided for us in nature and created tools that that make life more convenient and fun.

What would you do without your ipod?  Or the internet?  Even your cell phone?  We don’t even remember what life was like before these things.  Our tools of communication and media to express ourselves has grown exponentially.

Again, everything started as a thought.  What are you thinking about?  What are you dreaming about?  It will happen.  Stay with it and act when the opportunity presents itself for that thought to be able to manifest physically.  It’s that simple (and difficult).

I look forward to seeing what you create, and also using what you create for the betterment of my own life.

Power of a To Do List....

The current days we live in are called the “information age” because of all the ways that we can readily find whatever we need to know.  With the advent of the internet, we can be moved out of ignorance to knowledge about anything in an instant.

If you want to find the closest branch of you bank, you can find about it in seconds.  If you meet someone new that you are interested in, you can google them and find all sorts of information.  I have contacted friends through facebook that I haven’t seen or heard from since elementary school.

With all of this information at our fingertips, it is very easy to get distracted and lose hours surfing the web without any main purpose.  You can look up a week later and realize that you have steered off the course of your desired lifestyle into the world of entrancement on social websites and youtube.

One way that helps me stay focused is a daily "to do" list.  I have one list that I will write in the morning or previous evening of things to do like returning phone calls and e-mails, and other business and personal matters that are constantly changing.  The other list that  have is in the form of a typed and printed chart of all the things that I have to do (or would like to do) every day for my own mental, physical and spiritual evolution.

For me, some of these things include calisthenics, yoga, reading, book keeping etc.  It actually ends up being over twenty things that average about 15 minutes each to complete.  If I did not write it down, I would easily forget a few of these tasks, and after a few days it would fade into the background.  Months later I would think to myself, “Damn, when is the last time I did…”  At least when I write it down, it is always a reminder to stay focused and do what I intend to do.

There are many benefits to having a printed list:
  1. It feels good to check off tasks as you complete them.
  2. You look back at the end of the day and can quantify what you did that day.
  3. It ingrains success into the mind and prepares you for future success.
  4. It attracts success.
  5. It helps avoid the ups and downs of life.
  6. It promotes steady growth.
  7. It stimulates good habits and encourages excellence

Organize your life with "to do" lists and watch your production take off

A Few Things I Learned About Life...

Here are few things that I learned about life:

  • My speech and thoughts come into existence and create the environment in which I live.  Whatever my predominant thought is, is what will come to be.

  • If I have thoughts that are positive and joyful, things will ultimately be that.

  • If I have thoughts and speech patterns that are negative, bad experiences that I would rather not experience will find there way to me.

By focusing my thoughts on negativity, and speaking about how bad I am doing, I am closing the pathways for different possibilities to come my way.

“Change My Mind, to Change My Time.”

  • Focus on what I want to happen.
  • Speak on what I want to happen
  • Be what I want to happen.

By focusing on what I want, I am making myself open to receive the bounty that both the Earth and the Universe have to offer.
