Often times we want to bring things into our lives that we
desire. We want more money, more loving
relationships, more time etc. But,
before we get more, we have to clean up our lives and make room for more. When you get new furniture, you have to throw
out the old sofa. Whenever you put wax
on your car, you have to clean if first.
You have to wash the dishes after you eat and before your next
meal. This is a basic principle of life
that we use on a daily basis for the external aspects of ourselves.
When it come to our inner selves we forget this principle of
cleaning before you add on. The common
term for this uncleaned, unnecessary aspect is “baggage”. Folks carry around a lot of “baggage” from
past relationships and past experiences.
No one likes to deal with the baggage of others.
In the book Open Your Mind To Prosperity by Catherine Ponder, she outlines some wonderful ways to apply the principle of cleaning
your life to make room for what you want to manifest.
To briefly summarize some of the principles, you have to:
- Make a list of what you want to get rid of
- Make a list of what you want to bring into your life
- Make a list of what you are thankful for
